AquaArmor coatings are applied by a dipping process called 'Autodeposition'.
The process is sequential and travels through a series of Dip Tanks that must be precisely controlled
to ensure there are no variations in temperature, chemistry and other important variables.
The coating is applied uniformly at a thickness of around 2 mils regardless of shape or work piece,
and becomes an encapsulate which coats the whole part with a protective treatment yielding
high performance corrosion protection.
Quality Control:
Quality control requires unusually close attention since the composition and processing specifications in terms
of temperatures, time and chemicals varies for every type of part.
AquaArmor has invested in extensive research and development with its engineering staff and continually
evolves new knowledge about this technology.
